What is the process?
An appointment will be set up to measure the home/space. This can be done over the phone or on the internet. I make every attempt to work with the time that is most convenient for homeowners and agents. I will come and measure the entire house or just the areas requested and convert the drawing into a clean and easily readable image in either a JPG or PDF file.
How is the pricing calculated?
Download the Blue Ribbon Estimator from the Download tab above and have a quick and easy resource to pre-price a floor plan job. Please count all spaces when inputting to the Estimator for the most accurate estimate. Design services are billed hourly, please call or e-mail for a quote.
What is the usual turnaround time for a floor plan or design service?
Floor plans are usually turned around with proofs available as e-mailed files or hard copy, your preference, within 48-72 hours. Many are completed faster and quick service can be provided, never with an extra charge! Never a charge for revisions, changes or corrections. Final plans are usually ready the same day that revisions are provided or acceptance of plans is granted.

How far do you travel and is there a travel charge?
I have done plans for homes from Chicago to Lake Forest. I never charge for travel time, however I do charge for parking in the city when I have to use a parking garage.
Do you do commercial spaces?
Yes, I have done commercial properties such as auto shops, convenience stores, wine/liquor stores, coffee houses, carpet showrooms and others.
Can old floor plans be re-worked to show updates and changes since the last usage?
Yes, I can update previous versions of floor plans for a flat rate of $100, additional charges may be added if a trip to remeasure is necessary.
